The American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) is the certifying body for Scientific SCUBA Diving in North America.
The DMT Training Group provides SCUBA training in accordance with AAUS published standards for North American Divers or those wishing specifically AAUS standard. In the United Kingdom and the European Union the "Diving at Work Regulations (DWR)" apply to scientific diver training and certification.
